I always wondered who decided some places to be special. After having the opportunity to visit a variety of places, I realized nobody in particular decides where or what are the most attractive places in a city are going to be, but the collective & when we talk about the collective, there is nothing more mirroring than the movies we people, film to watch. 

Well then, Santa Monica Pier is one of those places that remarkably has been part of many Hollywood films which makes it fall, to me, under the category of one of those rendez-vouz internationally known spots, not to miss in this lifetime!!
